Primarily we have to classify the complexity of test cases as Complex or Medium or Simple based number of steps of each case

High(30 – 35 Steps)     ------  8 – 10 Hours

Medium(18 – 29 Steps)   -------  6- 7 Hours

Simple(1- 17 steps)      ------- 2 - 3 Hours

How to find a Machine locking code for QTP

To find the locking code for any machine, run the "inst_key.exe" on that machine.(To find the location of this file try searching in the machine).

This file will display the locking code and also provides provision to new license (or license server name in case of concurrent license).

The locking code cannot be changed for any machine unless it is reimaged. If at all the locking code is changed by mistake on the License server machine, then we will have to request for new license key from HP.
